    Step 1

    You can buy artificial garland inexpensively at craft stores. To begin this project, clip off 2-inch pieces from garland.

    Using an awl, a screw or a phillips head screwdriver, make a 1/2-inch deep hole in the cork.

    Step 3

    Insert garland clipping into cork. You can use a dab of glue on the end of the clipping before inserting it into the cork to secure if needed.
    Using a scissor, you can trim to shape the tree to your liking.
