Hello there! I just love your version and would like to make me one like this, but from your photo I can't quite see if your top is made in one or two pieces; i.e., if you only rip open the pants' legs and sewed them in a tube, or if you made the upper part of the fly top as per the original tutorial and then used another part of the pants to make the bottom part... Can you clarify this to me? Thanks!

I could, but it is already done by the original fly top :) It is quite same. I just did the bottom from trousers legs. ( Rip legs, turn legs of trousers up, do possibles dart,sew together)
