I looked at Claire's for cute summer bags, but they were all unreasonably priced. So, instead, I went on a thrift store hunt and found this cute summer pattern and made my very own summer bag. It took only a little while.

Get your tank top ready. Lay it out straight, with the bottom of the top very evenly lined up.

Cut the straps off of and lay them aside for later.

Turn the shirt inside out. Continue to keep the bottom evenly lined up.

Sew very carefully along the bottom.
(Sorry the picture isn't very clear) Either hand sew or machine sew. -

Turn the shirt back to the way it is supposed to be and you should have a purse base.

Remember those straps? Well, get them and sew it to the front of the purse, with the end of the strap on the inside. Do the same to the back of the purse.

And...There you have it! You have your very own trendy purse!
