• 

  Step 1

  Lay your non-skinny pants inside out on a flat surface, then lay skinny pants over them

• 

  Step 2

  Trace your skinny pants

• 

  Step 3

  Pin along the line you just drew

• 

  Step 4

  Sew along the line

• 

  Step 5

  Once you've finished sewing try them on and make sure they fit well. If they don't now is the time to make adjustments

• 

  Step 6

  Cut off the extra fabric

• 

  Step 7

  Try them on again and make sure you like them!

• 

  Step 8

  To paint the stripes on I laid tape down and where ever there isn't tape there will be paint

• 

  Step 9

  Make sure the tape is really stuck to the fabric and spray away. I just used what ever spray paint I could find, fabric paint would probably work better

• 

  Step 10

  Let them dry and there you go! I love how mine turned out and my kitty likes them too :)

thank you so much! quick and dirty, I love it! I was really worried I was going to have to do the whole 'attache ribbon done the sides' or 'cut strips and sew together' version, but this will work out perfect!

quick question; the paint didn't make the pants stiff??
