Lay your non-skinny pants inside out on a flat surface, then lay skinny pants over them

Trace your skinny pants

Pin along the line you just drew

Sew along the line

Once you've finished sewing try them on and make sure they fit well. If they don't now is the time to make adjustments

Cut off the extra fabric

Try them on again and make sure you like them!

To paint the stripes on I laid tape down and where ever there isn't tape there will be paint

Make sure the tape is really stuck to the fabric and spray away. I just used what ever spray paint I could find, fabric paint would probably work better

Let them dry and there you go! I love how mine turned out and my kitty likes them too :)
