Unscrew a pen and take the spring out. Or find a spring from some other place. it should be fairly small.
2
Grab the spring on both sides and pull, stretching it out so that it is longer, but keeps its twistiness. Leave the ends of the spring compact. you will need to do this so that the beads won't fall off.
Cut the spring in half as close as you can get to the middle.
take seed beads, or any other type of bead you can that will fit onto the string, and put lots of them onto the spring, leaving a small space at the top.
twist the top of the spring into a loop. i had to glue mine shut to keep it together.
attatch earring bases to the loops and voila! Enjoy!
