Sleepy Bear is always ready for naptime.
This bear pattern is unique in a few ways. First, the head and body are crocheted together so that you don’t have to sew on the head at the end. Second, the pattern includes instructions to crochet the ends of each appendage closed. I’ve found this makes them easier to sew onto the body.

Step 9
Using a long strand of black yarn and a yarn needle, embroider the nose and mouth. I've included a PDF tutorial for you to use. You'll find it above in the introduction to this pattern.
Step 10
Pin muzzle to head and sew onto the bear’s face using the long tail.
Step 11
Eyes

Using tapestry needle and a yard length of black yarn, embroider sleepy eyes on the bear’s head. Visit my photo tutorial for detailed instructions.

And there you go. You have a bear who’s always ready for bedtime.
