Made for myself for a night out
Wanted something mega sparkly for christmas and hate going into clothes shops so.. whip it up and wear it :)
Sorry the pictures are so scrappy but I literally finished it the night before my night out :D

  • Step 1

I did not go about this in the most organised way because I'm not terribly skilled at making clothes but essentially I traced round a bodycon dress I own and used it as my basic pattern. I cut and stitched a basic shift dress before marking the back swoop

  • Step 2

I cut and stitched a basic shift dress before marking the back swoop whilst wearing it (dress form or a good friend would be helpful here!) and then cut it as needed. as the sequinned material won't fray I left all my seams raw.

  • Step 3

In short, this was fairly cheap, super quick, and I don't care if it looked a little rough round the edges because I felt like an awesome glitter ball :)
