warm, delicate, yet surprisingly bad-ass
I made these one day after I played a gig because I was just so fed up with my wrist rubbing against my bass when I play and causing layer of skin to peel of and hurt for days afterwards. I wanted something that would look stage worthy yet fit to my arm and not be horribly chunky. These were perfect. I now wear them to school, outside, everywhere.

Sadly I didn't make these with the intention of giving out the pattern at first so I have no pictures of the process. This is also my first pattern so I hope it all works out okay.

  • Step 1

    ch = chain
    dc = double crochet

    1. ch 52

    2. dc in 3rd ch from hook *ch 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook* continue till last two ch, dc in both (16 "loops")

    3. ch 2 turn, dc till end

    4-8. repeat row 3

    9. ch 2 turn, dc next seven stitches, ch 5, dc in 6th ch from hook. (this will be your thumb hole) continue dc in every stitch till end.

    10. ch 2 turn, dc till end

    11. ch 2, turn, dc in next stitch *ch 2 dc in third stitch from hook* continue till last two ch, dc in both.

    finish off

    lace together starting top going under to over skipping every other "loop".

    You probably will need help tying them on.

    Now go play a show! (or just show off your new arm warmers)
