Paint a rustic pond mural.
I painted this mural in a game room with a view of this pond at a friends rustic yet very lavish redneck vacation home in the woods.

You Will Need

Step 1Start at the top of wall with various blends of blue and white paint. Feathering it around to give cloud like appearance.

Step 2Use a smaller brush with greenish black mixed color blend and draw out over sky the layout areas of the trees and landscape.

Step 3Fill in areas with appropriate dark colors in landscape.

Step 4Continue filling darker colors and lightly feathering with lighter colors that are close to the same color on the color wheel.

Step 5Paint pond completely dark blue or black and let dry. Add yellows, reds, whites to trees to create detail.

Step 6Add white streaks to the pond to appear as a reflection. After pond colors are dry paint detail foliage up front as the last point of perspective.
