Step 1Gather your materials.

Step 2Fold all 2-yard pieces in half. Keep one trim separate (for us, it's 10628-BK).

Step 3Twist the pearl trims by holding the cluster in each hand and turning the ends in opposite directions.

Step 4To measure the size of your necklace-to-be, carefully wrap the strands around your neck, firmly gripping it in the front. Be sure you can slide the pearls up over your head.

Step 5Remove and begin wrapping the set-aside trim around the area you were pinching closed in your hand.

Step 6Wrap six times and tie a knot, threading the end through the other pearls to make sure it stays.

Step 7Try it on, and don't forget to tell everyone who made it!
