don't throw away the scraps!!!

a fun way to make a scarf, and experiment with different fabric colors and prints

  1. Step 1 1

    i cut 32 pieces of random fabric left overs. each piece is 5 X 5cm

    you can make it bigger or smaller (depends on how much left overs you've got) :P

  2. Step 2 2

    now pin 16 pieces together and sew

  3. Step 3 3

    this is how it would look like after sewing , make 2 of these

  4. Step 4 4

    pin the 2 pieces (right sides together) and sew

  5. Step 5 5

    leave an open end to turn your scarf right sides out

  6. Step 6 6

    fold the edges in and pin

  7. Step 7 7

    top stitch the entire scarf, closing the open end as you go ...

    and you're done.
