a fashionable trend your baby can wear til she's a toddler<3
I made this (as I call it) scood for my 5 month old daughter and also tried it on my two year old son just to see how long she might get some use out of it. I'm really thrilled with the result!
ps, I have never written crochet instructions, as I have just started learning how to even read them so this is going to be kind of shoddy instruction and for that I apologize :)

  • Step 1

with the caron simply soft yarn i made (i won't lie) i don't know how many loose chain stiches but the chain ended up being about 24 inches long.

  • Step 2

then i did 25 rows double crochet

  • Step 3

i folded the square in half, and single crocheted the sides together, so you end up with a tube basically. tie it off, and weave in the tail.

  • Step 4

then i took the fuzzy yarn ( i had a long scrap piece lying around from another projects) and single crocheted it around one of the tube's edges to give it a cute border that will frame the face perfectly and voila!

  • Step 5

now put it on your lovey's head and enjoy all the compliments she'll stir up!
