Rag Doll
I dusted off my sewing machine when I found a bag of old clothes in my closet, but I didn't know what to make. I attempted soooo many things, purses, skirts, shirts.... nothing seemed to work. Then I saw my nephew with his batman plushie, and spiderman, and wolverine... I remembered my raggedy ann doll, so made me a rag-a-muffin doll and he's pretty cute I think.... Now he needs clothes... and a family( already in progress, pics soon to follow).
I made the pattern myself, I used an old white bed sheet for his body, head, arms and legs, acrylic paint for the spots on his legs, two buttons from an old shirt for his eyes and threaded his mouth. I wanted him to look a little old and used so I stained him with coffee and tea bags. I used my sewing machine to put him together but you sew them by hand.
