A kitsch recycling project thats ; fun and inexpensive.
This is a very fun little project and its really eco friendly. We have all had those sweet dispensers, for a while we religously bought pez to fill them up but eventually we lost interest and the dispenser usually went in a draw somewhere never seeing the light of day. why not re use them for something you will use, a cute quirky brooch. One day when I was on holiday I got a pez dispenser, with a toy lemur ontop. I knew there had to be some use for it. something I could use. so I knew I liked kitsch mad things so I knew this project was worth sharing, just think of all the pez dispensers out there ! so below is a little guide. I start colledge soon so I just wanted some new unique acsessories.

    Step 1

The brooch is quite tough. Its a consitina styled brooch, like a rosette.

    Step 2

This is quite tough so you may want to use a different style of rossette if you find it tough. something the pic doesnt say, is to add a blank brooch back to it, or a safety pin.

    Step 3

Find an old pez dispenser, using plyers, gently pry the jaw off, then the top. If its a solid head with no jaw like peice, use plyers to gentle break the plastic round it and pull it off in one peice. Dispose of the tube. Using glue , re assemble the head and jaw, till they make the head of the dispenser, then glue it to your rosette and poof you have a recycled adorable kitsch brooch.
