designs made out of pencil shavings
I had a hobby of collecting pencil shavings.. I had collected a shoe-box full of them and I had no idea what to do with them. Then I bought some sheets of black paper and was struck by the stark contrast the wooden shavings made against black.
I made these long back and framed them.. they're 7 years old :)

You Will Need

Step 1
Draw the design of your choice on the sheet of paper.

Step 2Stick the shavings along the drawing with very little glue.
You may need to cut the shavings as the design requires for eg i had to cut out leaf shaped shaving for this design

Step 3
Let it dry. Frame it. Wooden frames go very well with these.

It was.. I was covered in glue and the shavings would stick to my fingers not to the paper .. but it was worth it
