small, patchworky tote bag in Hufflepuff colors
Made this for a friend for her birthday/Christmas... an experiment to make a cute bag in Hufflepuff colors that doesn't come off bumblebee-like. The patch actually came from Borders (the cheapest I've found outside of ebay), and the fabric was sale remnants.

I was hoping the quilt patterns would take away from the bumble-beeness, lol... hopefully my Hufflepuff friend will like it too. I've gotten a commission for a combo Slytherclaw one, which will be a whole other experiment...

Ah I know what you mean by the bumble-bee thing. I'm a proud Hufflepuff but sometimes I wished we had better colours. Tongue

The bag looks really good. I think the patterned yellow fabric takes away from the bumble-bee.
