  • Step 1

    Trim down your base paper, mine is blue to 21cm x 16cm and score it at 5cm on both sides. Cut 4 squares each in yellow, measuring 4,5cm and blue squares measuring 4cm. Adhere them together and center them on the box.

  • Step 2

    Check out the layout I created, it shows exactly which parts you have to cut off (turqouise lines).

  • Step 3

    Use an office hole punch to punch two holes into the top "wings" - that's where you're going to put the paperstraw through.

  • Step 4

    Using a bigger circle punch, for instance 3/4" or 1". punch half a hole into the back of the box, that makes it easier to open it.

  • Step 5

    Now it's time to stick it all together using liquid glue or double sided tape. Decorate it as you wish and you're done!
