My first attempt at jewellery- its a paper rose ring!
With a little more practise I hope to make more of these! I used a paper template and a technique I learnt here:
But I used super glue instead of a glue gun (as I havent got one yet!)
The paper I used was from a book about Runes I found in a charity shop for £1 (I really liked the colour of the paper) and I got the plain rings for £25p each at a wholesale jewellery shop in Soho.
Please let me know what you think! I would like to give them as small token gifts to some of my ladies for christmas but not sure if they are rubbish or not :)

This is adorable...but would the paper get ruined if it were wet? I'm hoping to make a few also.

Thanks you again Pammerz, really helpful advice! I think I will give them as gifts, i've been wearing mine today and i've got a job where I use my hands a lot (librarian) and the rings are pretty solid too. x

I love the look of the paper also, I can see why you picked that book to use! I bet these would be wonderful gifts! You could wrap them up in festive paper, and if you didn't want to give out all the exact same thing you could switch it up by glueing a flower to a brooch pin, hair clip, head band or even to a chunky necklace! You could do so many cool things with this pretty flower!
