• 

  Step 1

  Here I am giving the template for making cake slice.

• 

  Step 2

  Now take a Pastel paper from which you have to make paper cake slice. So draw the given template on this paper.

• 

  Step 3

  Using paper cutter,cut only the boundaries which you have drawn. You will get your desired template.

• 

  Step 4

  Fold all lines to give the shape of a cake.

• 

  Step 5

  It’s time to fix all the sides. See the image to know where you have to apply the glue.
  Don’t glue the inside part,glue the sides of outer paper. That’s why while drawing the template on paper I have mark it with pen. So the marked part is inside one and the outside part is plain. You can see the difference in image 4 & 5.

  Step 6

  Like this make one more cake slice.

  But I have decided to add a little bit twist. Yes,I thought of slicing small part of the cake slice as if I am going to take a bite of the cake.
  For this follow these steps.

  Step 7

  Mark little part of the cake slice with pencil & cut it out using paper cutter. This is how you will get two parts of the cake slice. But as you will cut the cake into two parts, it’s inside part will become vacant. So to fill the vacant part you have to join extra paper. For this follow the below steps.

  Step 8

  Whenever you cut the cake,you must have noticed the side part of the cake that it has some layers. So I will add some layers.
  Take a white paper and take the cake slice which you have divided into two parts. Now,take the bigger sliced part of the cake slice and keep the vacant part facing downward on a white paper. Mark it’s boundaries using pencil. Do the same for left and right side. So see the image to understand the technique.

  Step 9

  Now you will get the below image.
  Left and right sides are the layer part and middle one is the covering part of the sliced cake which is vacant.

  Step 10

  Make dotted lines as shown in the image and cut it out to get the paper to be fixed on the cake.

  Step 11

  Attach same pastel paper in the middle part as shown in image.

• 

  Step 12

  Fold left and right sides of the paper. Apply glue on the outer edge of the sliced cake and attach the covering part.

• 

  Step 13

  In this same process cover up the small part of sliced cake.

• 

  Step 14

  Again cut out some white strips and fix it to the cake slice.

  Now you are seeing one flower on the top of the cake. That is also made with paper. For decorating the cake I’ve used paper flower.

  Step 15

  Steps for flower making:
  Draw circles of radius 2 cm, 1.5 cm, and 1 cm on a paper and cut it out. Then cut the paper up to the center point using scissor.

  Step 16

  Now fold a little and glue it. So you will get a shape just like a cone.

• 

  Step 17

  Mark the cutted part with red color. Join the paper such that the cutted part colored with red meets. Like this repeat this same process for rest of the circles and glue them to get a flower.

  Fix this flower on the cake. This flower I’ve used for single cake slice. For other cake I’ve used sliced flower because I’ve sliced the cake.

  Step 18

  As the other cake slice is divided into two parts so its flower is also divided. So,again cut out circle from paper and divide it into two parts to get a semi-circle. Now cut the center part of semi-circle,fold a little and glue it. Like this join other semi-circles and fix it to the cake. Little bit fold the top part of the flower petal to give a real flower look.

  Step 19

  And the last part is to add glitter on flower.
