• 

  Step 1

  Take your paper and fold it in half, making a triangle. Press down firmly to make a crease and then unfold.

  Step 2

  Take bottom corner and fold up slightly, create a crease.

• 

  Step 3

  Keeping that bottom part folded, fold your paper in half again, along that same crease. You just created the body of your penguin.

• 

  Step 4

  Now, for the wings. Take one corner and fold it back to where the tip is just barely touching the crease.

• 

  Step 5

  Repeat step four on the other side.

• 

  Step 6

  Now for the feet, this is were it starts to get tricky. We're going to work the bottom, the whit part without a point. Take the edge and fold it up towards the "back". You should try and get the fold parallel to the bottom of the "wing". Press firmly to create a crease.

  Step 7

  Now, your going to want to tuck that piece into the "body" using the crease you just made. Tip: Open up the bird and fold it inward, using the crease as a guide to where you want it folded.

  Step 8

  Take one of the "legs" and fold it back towards the wing. Just let the tip touch the bottom of it. (Sorry for the bad pic.)

  Step 9

  While still holding that last crease fold the point back down towards the other leg and the unfold both of the creases you just made.

  Step 10

  These next two steps suck. Tuck the fold into the bird's body. Simple huh?

  Step 11

  Now, with that last crease your going to want to push the "foot" out. I have found if you pinch the fold made in step 10 while pushing out the crease it's easier.

  Step 12

  Now do this on the next side. The feet should be the same size, but if it's not don't worry. Just means it won't stand up well.

• 

  Step 13

  Lets move on to the head. Open your bird, sightly so you don't undo the feet, and fold the top point downwards. Make sure it's just above the wings. Unfold.

• 

  Step 14

  Fold back down again, making sure to get a small part of the wings this time. Then close your bird again.

• 

  Step 15

  Place your finger in the back of it's head as you lift the face up. May take a little fiddling unto you can get it to stand again (if your feet aren't even).

  Step 16

  Close it again and bend the tip back just slightly. Press firmly to create a crease.

• 

  Step 17

  Now fold the tip forwards.

• 

  Step 18

  Remember what we did with the feet in steps 10-12? Well, your gonna do it again here. But it is a little easier this time.

  Fold that first crease down.

• 

  Step 19

  Now fold the second crease up.

• 

  Step 20

  It should look something like this. :P

  It you like the way it looks, or your fingers are just tired, you can stop here. Otherwise, lets finish the wings.

  Step 21

  The rest is really simple. Just take the tip of the wing and fold it slightly inward. You may have to adjust it until you get it to the point you like.

  Step 22

  Do the same on the other side and then your done.

  Tada! You just made your penguin! These little fellas make great gifts and their also really good for decorating on a budget. Enjoy!
