Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

    Prepare the following materials:
50 x 0.6cm dia black beads 2 sizes of chains (small and large) 4 small pendants of your choice 1 big pendant of your choice for your focal piece 2 multi-row clasps/multi-slot clips 2 x 50cm (20 inches) Silk thread Jump rings Lobster clasp

  2. Step 2 2

    Cut 2 x 15 cm (6 inches) thick chains and 1 x 15 cm (6 inches) thin/small chain.

  3. Step 3 3

Now, bring up the multi-row clasp. With a jump ring attach the chains into the holes like shown in this picture. Do the same for the other end.

  4. Step 4 4

Attach a jump ring on each of your pendants.

  5. Step 5 5

Lay your pendants on one of the thick chains and adjust to your liking to have even spaces then attach the pendants to the chain.

  6. Step 6 6

Looking at your multi-row clasp, you’ve got 2 holes left. Cut 50 cm (20 inches) silk thread. Insert the thread all the way through the center of thread and tie a knot around the empty hole. Dab glue on the knot to make it sturdy. Now, you got two silk threads tied onto the holes.

  7. Step 7 7

Apply glue at the ends of the threads to keep the threads together and to make it stiff enough like a needle’s ends.

  8. Step 8 8

Slide in 25 beads onto the thread.

  9. Step 9 9

After sliding in 25 beads tie the thread twice and make a knot onto the opposite hole. Dab glue on the knot and cut excess thread with your nail clipper or scissor.

  10. Step 10 10

Repeat Step 7 and 8 for the other thread.

  11. Step 11 11

    Cut 2 x 2cm (0.80 inches) of thin chains.

  12. Step 12 12

On one chain, attach the lobster clasp at the center using a jump ring while on the other chain, attach another jump ring.

  13. Step 13 13

Using your jump rings, attach the chains on the 1st and last holes of the multi-row clasp like shown in this picture. You're done!
