  • How to paint a pair of painted shoes. More Shoes That Are Good For Your Wallet :) - Step 1
    Step 1

so get a cheap pair of black shoes that fit. not patent or fabric just normal ones. i started out by drawing an initial design on the shoes with a white water colour pencil. the design on these are the iron fist wolf beater :)

    Step 2

now i actually made a mistake here, the grey is too light. get a grey like slate grey or darker and paint around the shoe(and over the eye) if you make a mistake like the one i made just leave to dry and paint over. leave the area around the teeth black for the moment

  • How to paint a pair of painted shoes. More Shoes That Are Good For Your Wallet :) - Step 3
    Step 3

while the grey is drying i started on the teeth, which is kind of tricky but not too hard. start by painting in the teeth(skull white) waith for it to dry then paint daps of red not too precise just where you think it needs. while it dries paint a light grey outline around the teeth like i did. then with your black paint little bits of outline in and around the teeth and gums. if you want gently flick your paintbrush with red onto your shoe to make it look more gruesom :)

so i fixed my mistake and made it darker this is the shade that you should have started out with.

    Step 5

this is pretty straight forward. draw your "fur" with your pencil if your worried about making a mistake leave a gap in the middle of the shoe for the eye. make your strokes loose not precise.

    Step 6

when its all dry paint in your eye on both sides. put in as much detail as you can to the eye as you can to the eye

  • How to paint a pair of painted shoes. More Shoes That Are Good For Your Wallet :) - Step 7
    Step 7

this is what it should look like. paint in eye, then paint in the red pupil, the the black iris when its all dry paint in tiny white circles to look like moisture in the eye

  • How to paint a pair of painted shoes. More Shoes That Are Good For Your Wallet :) - Step 8
    Step 8

paint your heels red :) this took a good few laters as it was very streaky for me. so say 4 layers
( im not sure why is orange in this picture but its actually very dark red lol)

    Step 9

and this is the finished piece :) hope you like it and hope the tutorial was helpful :) dont forget to varnish the shoes as when they get wet the paint my fade
