You Will Need

Description 

This can be worked in the round or flat.


Instructions 
  1. 1

    Using size 17 needles and super-bulky yarn, cast on 50 stitches (either join in the round with a twist or work flat).


  2. 2

    Work 34 rows in garter stitch.

    Work the following rounds/rows as suggested:
    R3, 14, 21, 32: *yo, k2tog


  3. 3

    Bind off. Weave in ends. Sew seam with a twist if worked flat.

Wow, this is really good. I haven't made it quite into the realm of being able to knit that well though. Right now, I'm more into knitting flat projects like blankets and assorted washcloths.

this pattern is so awesome! simple, works up quick, and uses little yarn. plus, working with giant needles is just fun. :)
