I bought some postcards at Ikea that I thought would look good in my kitchen. The trouble is, I didn't want the end result to look like something out of the Ikea catalog. I finally came up with this idea after a visit to the local hardware store.
Saw the wood or plywood to the same size as your artwork. I got this done for me at the hardware store when I bought the wood. I used very cheap pine wood.

Drill a hole in the back for hanging up the finished result.
If you don't have a drill, you can also use picture hooks.
I chose to drill a hole because I wanted the artwork to be flush against the wall and and not stick out.
Paste your artwork to the wood

Iron the veneer strips on to the sides (or glue them on, depending on the type of strips you found) & trim off any excess veneer.
Tadaaah! Enjoy!!
