Hang up postcards, photos and other printed material without a frame.
I bought some postcards at Ikea that I thought would look good in my kitchen. The trouble is, I didn't want the end result to look like something out of the Ikea catalog. I finally came up with this idea after a visit to the local hardware store.

Step 1
Saw the wood or plywood to the same size as your artwork. I got this done for me at the hardware store when I bought the wood. I used very cheap pine wood.

Step 2Drill a hole in the back for hanging up the finished result.
If you don't have a drill, you can also use picture hooks.
I chose to drill a hole because I wanted the artwork to be flush against the wall and and not stick out.

Step 3
Paste your artwork to the wood

Step 4Iron the veneer strips on to the sides (or glue them on, depending on the type of strips you found) & trim off any excess veneer.
