For these Lulu & Georgia inspired designs, start with an inexpensive white rug and a little bit of paint. Water down regular interior wall paint, or use an acrylic metallic paint as is. These rugs are stylish, washable, and easily created for just a few dollars!

Step 1
For the arrowhead design, use painters tape to create a chevron, then run a tape line right down the middle of each chevron design. Apply paint using a sponge brush.
Step 2
For the circular design, a stencil or a canning lid jar does very well, eyeball equal distances between each oval. Once your designs are completely dried, rinse your rug in cold water and white vinegar.
