Delivered straight from Halloween Town!
So this is my boyfriend's 19th birthday cake. It took 5 hours to make. To bake the cakes, let them chill, make the icing, make the hill, etc. But it was very good and my boyfriend really loved it! So it was very worth it in my mind.

Extra Notes: The figurines are from different sets. Obviously the Nightmare Before Christmas, the lamp post is from Corpse Bride. Marshemallow icing is the best for the pumpkins. The idea for the Gummy worms is not mine, I got it from Voltaire's Paint it Black, Gothic Homemaking book. And I have gotten some questions about how the black icing tasted, I mixed black food coloring with chocolate icing so it wasn't bitter.

I was just curious, how did the frosting turn out? As a baker myself i notice that black food coloring for some reason makes things taste a little weird. Did it affect your icing at all?
