how to make a boring hair clip NOT boring

get a boring hairclip(mine cost R2!! thats like,less than $0.30!!)

get embroidery thread in the colours of your choice

cut 1m of each colour

grab your scissors

fold the first colour in half

thread it through the first gap in the clip

pull the end through the loop
(click on the image to see the whole picture,it helps!!)

thread the thread (haha) through the next gap and pull it through the loop (the same as in the previous step)

start the second colour the same way as the first

remember to hold the first colour down so that the second one wraps over it

when you get to the end,tie a knot in the last wrap you did

knot all the colours together.
pull them tight!
