Great For Cold Nights

I love this stuff!

Perfect for cold nights.

It tastes so great...and smells wonderful!

And better yet...its actually very good for you.

Heres a few benefits:
Cranberries-Heart healthy...Improves circulatory system...Reduces the risk of kidney stones
Lemons-Effective in curing digestive problems...Acts as a diuretic...Hasten wound healing
Oranges-High amount of anti-oxidant...Provides protection against viral infections...Lowers high blood pressure
Cloves-Good source of fiber...Reduces inflammatory symptoms...Acts as a mild anaesthectic

Traditionally...cider is made from pressing apples...but the taste and smell of this drink remind me of cider from when I was little...so thats why I named it a cider...instead of just a drink.

Enjoy! ^-^

While youre waiting...go ahead and juice 1 lemon and 1 orange. Set aside.

  4. Step 4 4

Slice the other lemon and orange up. Set aside.

  5. Step 5 5

Once your 30 mins is up...turn your heat setting to the lowest level.

    Now add your 2 cups sugar...your lemon/orange juice...your lemon/orange slices...and your 15 cloves.

Stir well. Now just cover your pot and leave it alone for 1 hour.

  6. Step 6 6

    After an hour...

Optional-Remove a few (or all) orange slices (or lemon) and set aside for garnishing.

  7. Step 7 7

Place a strainer over your pitcher. Now very carefully ladel fruits and juice into the strainer.

Drain completely...discard whats left in the strainer.

Now just pour some in a cup...place an orange slice on top...and enjoy!

*Its also good when cold...I just prefer it hot*
