A fun, modern take on the traditional hexagon for English Paper Piecing.
Each Hexiestar takes around an hour to sew as the narrow triangles are a bit tricky.

Step 1Cut out the templates. Free downloadable PDF of the templates available at the link provided.

Step 2Sew the narrow triangles to the central hexagon so it looks like a starfish, then fill in the spaces with the larger triangles.
