One cool kitty

I had a few Hello Kitty charms laying around, so I decided to turn them into something useful- A necklace, and some earrings ^_^

Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

    Hello Kitty Necklace

I finished my Hello Kitty shower gel and was left with an empty bottle :(.

  2. Step 2 2

So I carefully cut around Kitty :) then threw the rest of the bottle away.

  3. Step 3 3

I flattened her out* (She was still moulded to the shape of a shower gel bottle!) by placing under some heavy books for a while.

After she was nice and flat, I used a hole punch to make a hole in her bow.

*Hello kitty was not harmed in the process of making this how to :)

  4. Step 4 4

I threaded kitty onto my necklace through the hole in her bow. I had a few Kitty charms left over from some other shower gel bottles, so I added one here. I finished off by threading alphabet beads onto the necklace.

  5. Step 5 5

Me wearing the finished necklace ^_^

  6. Step 6 6

    Hello Kitty Earrings

I had two more Hello Kitty charms left over from step 4. I had two old earrings, and glued these to the back of Kitty's head :-0

  7. Step 7 7

Before glueing, I made a hole in the back so the earrings would fit in. I used a glue gun, and that made things easier as the glue dried quicker.
