First I took a pair of old leather pants and cut of one leg.

Evened out the ends and made it just the right size for my flats to fit.

Found a really nice design, printed it out, cut out of paper and transfered the image onto the leather using white chalk.

Then cut out design from leather. As it was a faux leather I used simple scissors. It took quite the time and patience ;)

Took some extra fabric from the dress (which I also made myself). Using hot glue gun glued dangly design bits to it and sewn this material with leather (I used sewing machine).

Then added chunky zipper ad few embellishments.
Although I am thinking of doing some more sewing on it, but as I didn't have time, went to the wedding like that :)
