Haematite Ankh Necklace

Haematite Ankh necklace
I have had this large ankh for ages, so decided to make it into a necklace. I attatched it to a bail using jewellery wire, then covered to connecting wire by forming Fimo around it in a bead shape, then baking the ankh, bail and fimo in the oven. This made a large heavy necklace, so I attatched it a a thick velevt ribbon, and sewed the fasteners in place using heavy duty buttonhole thread.
