I love me some fairy tale :)
I got tired with the standard flower or star fair isle patterns so I made up this gnome pattern but decided to change my original design. It turned out really cute and find there are so many possibilities with this... when I get the hang of 'fair isle' I will surely knit more hats with mythical creatures! It's a sure thing I need more practise 'cause boy did I have a hard time on this...

That is so cute! I'd love to try making one of my own, could you put up a pattern possibly? Please? *gives you a puppy-eyed look* I haven't tried Fair Isle before, but for gnomes I would definitely give it a chance!
