Add a little geek-chic to your rustic decor!
The idea started out as a joke and then I thought it would be something my Hubby might get a kick out of. The sign is something I put together from my Hubby’s favorite bits of the Lord of the Rings. So, this is what I ended up with and I’m really happy with it.

You Will Need

Step 1Lay out your various boards, attach along the back and sand the surface smooth.

Step 2Paint the base with a thin, dark stain. Let it dry overnight then you can use glue to create a base for the crackle finish.

Step 3I used a flat, white paint to add the crackle.

Step 4I used an Artograph projector as a guide to add the lettering to the sign using dark gray paint.
