How to finger crochet.
Sorry for the no pictures thing. Tell me if the how-to sucked or not. BTW the cover photo has nothing to do with this project, and time depends on how long you want it and how much experience you have.

Make a slip knot. To do this you put the end of the yarn underneath the rest of it, making a loop. Then you pull the end piece through, but not all the way, leave some out.

Put your finger through the loop, and pull the end piece, which will make it tighter.

Take the ball-of-yarn side and put it across the finger with the hole.

Take the first loop, and pull it over the other one, pull the shorter side.
