A nice introduction to both fair isle and hat making

A nice introduction to both fair isle and hat making, this one is knit flat with simple fair isle motifs every so often. earflaps and pompom optional.

YARN - scraps of aran/worsted weight will do, 4 colours. mine was cygnet wool rich aran (MC dark grey and CC1 darker pink), debbie bliss merino aran (CC2 grey) and cascade 220 (CC3 pale pink). because of this i'm not sure on yardage.
NEEDLES - 1 pair 5mm straight, two 4mm double pointed needles (or 1 circular)
