Fabric Memory Cards

  • Completed Project: Fabric Memory Cards Picture #2

These are great for developing kindy skills
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

these cards are great for preschoolers and kindy kids
we give one to each of our preschool cousins
they teach turn taking, fine motor finger manipulation skills , patience and memory.
they are made by cutting out about 20 pieces of fabric all the same size and pattern.cut out another 20 same size but different patterns and colors with 2 of each type. sew together with a piece of stuffing in between
This can be made for smaller children by using less cards, bolder prints and bigger cards . For older children use more cards, maybe a timer, similar patterns and credit card size cards.

These last ages and can be thrown in the washing machine to be cleaned

This is a great way to recycle those outgrown (but still cute) patterned p.j.'s of my kids' that I have been saving! Thanks!
