I just used 3 pieces of pink fabric, braided them together. I then sewed the ends so they wouldn't unravel. Then I used a plain hair band, wrapped the fabric ends around it, and sewed those together. It's a little frayed, mainly from the fabric I chose, but no-fray or something like that would help it to stop.
