DIY wedding details
After months of agonizing on what type of shoes to wear for the wedding, I have given up and decided I needed some foot bling. Great for barefoot yet dressy occasions

  • Step 1

gather your supplies. Decide how you want to wrap it around, I wrapped mine around the ankle twice. I basically took the cord wrapped it around my second toe and pulled it up to my ankle and wrapped it around twice and then cut it, that was the easiest method for me to make sure it would work, probably another inch or two to make sure I can tie it off at the end.

  • Step 2

string on beads and work them to the middle of your cord. when you have enough to make it around your toe all the way, tie a knot, I just took both strands of cord and wrapped them together around each other for my knot.

  • Step 3

continue to string beads on each individual string. you can use other sizes of beads if you want, just depends on what you are going for, or incorporate the colours of your wedding into it.

  • Step 4

Finish off with a knot, I used a fancy bead I happened to have, and put both strands of cord through it before tying it off.

  • Step 5

Twist the two cords together and wrap around your ankle--voila!

Ooh, this is so ideasmartness! I love it! I totally want to get married barefoot someday! This way, my poor little toesies wouldn't feel too naked. Tweehee!

Love it!
