bag, sewing,
I belly dance, and needed a baggie for my Zills. So I made them a nice reversible drawstring bag out of some scraps that I had laying around!

    Step 1

This can be a reversible bag, or just a bag with lining (if you use all the same fabric and not two different ones). I just made a patter out of paper the shape of what you see in the picture here and sewed up the around the edge right sides together and leaving the top about half an inch (an an opening at the top of course!

    Step 2

I didn't have a camera for this step, so I drew a diagram. The left is what the your two pieces should look like from the sides at this point.

So on to the next step. take one bag and have it so it's inside out. Take the other piece and make it RIGHTside out. PUT THE INSIDE OUT piece INSIDE the RIGHT side out bag. pin and sew the opening of the bags (the red dotted lines) and STOP until you have about an inch left (the green is the unsewn part) and turn the bag inside out through the hole. just push one side into the other and you have a bag!

Now, just sew the very top edge so that the bag is stable, and sew about half an inch below the line you just sewed, and run some string through it and voila, a reversible draw string baggie!
