You can buy a special tool to create dots on your nails but a bobby pin or toothpick works just as well. I also like to use a palette since the size of the dots will “grow” as you go, making it necessary to blot. It’s also easier to just dip your tool into a bit of polish.

You Will Need

Step 1To start, place a few drops of polish on your palette and make sure your base polish has dried to the touch. Now just dip your tool into the polish, making a test dot on your palette to get a feel for the size. Once you’re comfortable you can start adding dots to your nails in any pattern you like.

Step 2When finished make sure to seal with top coat.
