Diy Bulletin Boards
I needed several bulletin boards for my studio that would help me stay organized and a place to pin-up all the pictures of ideas I want to keep so I decided to create my own DIY Bulletin Boards Made From Old Picture Frames. DIY bulletin boards made out of old picture frames can be made very inexpensively for your own home or to give as gifts.

I disassembled the frames so I could paint them. Since I was using Annie Sloan paint I didn’t bother sanding them. For the frames I used Anne Sloan Old White. I put on two coats and then distressed the corners with sandpaper.

Cut the mat board to fit inside your frame. I chose to cover the mat board with white burlap for my pin boards. I had a scrap piece of plastic pegboard ( really it was left over from an old chore chart system when the kids were little). The peg board allows me to have a place to hook up supplies I might need to be handy.

Finally I added a heavy cord to hang them by and dressed up the cord with tulle to give it a more feminine look.
