  • Step 1

    draw a simple pattern or design on the lid with a permanent marker (don't forget to reverse your letters)

    draw over your design carefully with puffy paint,

    try to make lines as even as possible (you may have to go over them again after it dries)

    let dry for 4-6 hours

    use a versa magic ink pad to stamp image (found versa magic works well and washes off the bottle caps easily)

    I actually really like the round design that the raised edges of the caps made and the uneven lines from the puff paint--gives an "antique" look to it.
