I went on a decoupage kick a while ago and I was trying all kinds of different techniques. For this project I first made the birdhouse. I used cardboard for this particular one and super glued it together. Once it was dry and sturdy, I placed fabric on it and covered it with mod podge. I find things come out much neater with fabric instead of paper. It dries and doesn't feel like fabric. Once it was dried I sprayed it with gloss sealant and put decorations all over it.
