I'm not so great at sewing, it seems, but I really liked the original project. Here is my first attempt! I reused old fabric that my mom had bought at auctions or used on other things. The buttons are reused as well. On the "beak" part, I messed up a bit with some black thread and had to take it out, so it looks a little messy now.

Overall though, I am pretty proud of my little owl. I plan to make many more too!
