Hama beads box
 <  Image 1 of 6  >

I made this cute small box for hama beads... I used an old shoe box for it.

I use the box as storage for hama beads, but naturally, you can store almost anything you want in it (jewelery, buttons, etc.) ;)

I hope, that everyone can understand these instructions ^^

Good luck ;)

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

First, I removed the stickers and price-tags from the box.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

Then I sticked double-sided tape in the shape of a cross on the outer walls and the lid of the box (see pic). I think other types of glue might also work well.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

Afterwards I rolled out some gift paper and put the box onto it. I cut a little more than the needed amount

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

and folded the rest over the edges with the help of transparent tape. The same procedure was used for the inside of the box and the lid.

  5. Step 5

After finishing this I measured the measurements of the inside of the box to divide the box into 15 shelves.

  6. Step 6

In order to do this I used 6 pieces of cardboard to divide the box. I added small cuts to fit them into each other. Those cardboard pieces were also wrapped with gift paper, though a different from the one which I used for the box itself.

  7. Step 7

I strenghtened the connection of those pieces to the box by adding some transparent tape and glueing them to the bottom of the box.

(Sorry I haven´t got any pics from the last three steps but I hope you understand my instructions)

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

Now it should be finished ^^ and look like this *g*
