A basket case, basket virgin.
This is my first attempt ever at a crochet rope basket. I am stash-busting my yarn and I thought, "Hey, I can make a basket!" -__-

And I went to work.
I bought the wrong size rope, I had to use a bigger hook, and it was kind of awkward at first. Once you get the rhythm of it, it gets easier. Needless to say my basket looks a bit wonky in some spots, but I love the way it looks! This makes for a good weekend project.
I think I will use it to store blankets for the kids in the living room.
