• Step 1

  Mouse
  1. Crochet two chain stitches.
  2. 6 single crochet in 2nd chain from hook.
  3. 2 single crochet in the first stitch, 1 single crochet in the next. Repeat until you have 9 stitches.
  4. 2 single crochet in the first stitch, 1 single crochet in the next 2 stitches. Repeat until you have 12 stitches.
  5. 12 single crochet.
  6. 2 single crochet in the first stitch, 1 single crochet in the next 3 stitches. Repeat until you have 16 stitches.
  7. 6 single crochet. Now make an ear. You do that by doing the following in the next stitch (1 slip stitch, 1 single crochet, 4 double crochet, 1 single crochet, 1 slip stitch). Crochet two single crochet in the next two stitches. Crochet another ear in the next stitch. Crochet another six single crochet in the next six stitches.
  8. 1 single crochet, 2 single crochet in the next stitch, 2 single crochet, 2 single crochet in the next stitch, 4 single crochet, 2 single crochet in the next stitch, 2 single crochet, two wingle crochet in the next stitch, 1 single crochet. Now you have 18 stitches.
  9. 18 single crochet.
  10. 2 single crochet in the first stitch, 5 single crochet. Repeat until you have 21 stitches.
  11. 21 single crochet.
  12. 2 single crochet in the first stitch, 6 single crochet. Repeat until you have 24 stitches.
  13. 24 stitches.
  14. Decrease by crocheting two together, 4 single crochet. Repeat until you have 20 stitches.
  15. Decrease by crocheting two together, 3 single crochet. Repeat until you have 16 stitches.
  16. Decrease by crocheting two together, 2 single crochet. Repeat until you have 12 stitches.
  Now stuff the mouse and close it.

  Tail
  Crochet 15 chain stitches. In the second chain from the hook crochet single crochet all the way down until you have 14 stitches. Ofcourse you can make the tail longer or shorter if you wish. Attach the tail to the mouse and add a mouth and eyes.

wouldn't round 6 yield 15 stitches?
(1 x 2 + 3 x 1) x 3

wouldn't round 6 yield 15 stitches?
(1 x 2 + 3 x 1) x 3* = 15
* and it's x3 at the end, since one repeat goes through 4 of the original stitches from round 5 and there are total of 12 sts, so 12 / 4 = 3
