You Will Need

Step 1Chicken...
Melt 3 tbsp butter.
Add carrot, celery, onion & garlic.
Cook out until softened.

Step 2Add 3 tbsp butter & chicken to pot.
Cook chicken.

Step 3Add flour.
Cook out for a minute.

Step 4Add evaporated milk, stock, salt, pepper & thyme.

Step 5Dumplings...
Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, pepper & thyme.

Step 6Pour in the butter & milk to form a dough.

Step 7Drop spoonfuls of the dough on top of the chicken.
Place a lid on & simmer for 15 mins until the dough is risen & cooked through.

Step 8Serve
